How long does it take you all to get used to life with a new baby?
Luke will be three weeks old tomorrow, and I'm still kind of frazzled by how hectic everything is in my house.
Ben went back to work yesterday and can I just say, it was a REALLY long day yesterday! Add to that there is no school this whole week, so Lindsay is home and that makes all four kids here with one tired mom.
I really missed Ben yesterday.
But today is better.
I'm still trying to get used to the whole crazy evening schedule - getting dinner ready, making sure Luke is awake so that he will sleep at night, getting everyone ready for bed when I want to crawl into bed myself.
Thankfully once Luke does fall asleep for the night, he sleeps great. Usually 5-6 hours in a row at first, then he gets a diaper change and eats, then sleeps for another 2-3 hours, then repeat. He really is a mellow baby.
So, we are still adjusting, but we are getting there.

I feel ya, dude. Life with 4 is hectic! It must have been nice having help for so long, with Mom and Kira there, and Ben not going back to work until yesterday. I'm glad Luke is a good sleeper!
I'm just barely getting organized with 3, I can't imagine 4!
